Ballistic Plate, NIJ Level IV Stand Alone (SA)

This ballistic plate is designed to achieve NIJ Level IV protection and is a "stand alone" plate. Such plates are designed to stop bullets without an additional inside layer. It is not necessary to wear a ballistic vest under the protective plate, since all the ballistic energy and fragments are retained by the plate itself. These plates are used, for example, in tactical operations or counter-terrorism work, where the expected threat is a rifle rather than handguns, or when wearing a soft bulletproof vest is considered too cumbersome.

Care: To clean the ceramic plates, carefully remove them from the vest/plate carrier and wipe with a soft cloth using a mild detergent such as soapy water. After drying the tiles with a towel, store them in a cool, dry place and never place other objects on top of them, as ceramic tiles are not designed to bear heavy loads.
