Plate carriers and accessories for duty, training and range use
Shop plate carriers from Husar, Direct Action and Hexatac, with the accessories to build a setup around your plates and equipment. Our selection covers low-profile plate carriers, modular platforms with integrated admin storage, and separate cummerbunds, front panels, back panels and comfort pads. Whether you are buying your first carrier or upgrading an existing one, you can choose the base and matching components in one place.
Explore the Husar Duke and Noble, Direct Action SPITFIRE MK II and Hexatac HPC² in colours including Black, Ranger Green and Multicam. These carriers hold ballistic plates; the plates themselves are purchased separately. ESTTAC ships orders from Europe to customers across Europe and internationally.
Low-profile plate carriers for a slimmer setup
A low-profile plate carrier keeps bulk down when you want a simple base or need to wear the carrier beneath an outer layer. We recommend the Husar Duke for this approach. Its slim Cordura 500D construction and elastic shoulder pads keep the base uncomplicated, while Swift Clip buckles let you add a front flap when you need more storage.
Pair the Duke with a Husar Elastic Cummerbund for a flexible fit around the torso. The cummerbund is sold separately, so you can choose the side system that suits how you intend to use the carrier.
Modular plate carriers with room to expand
For a carrier you can configure with additional storage, choose the Husar Noble, Direct Action SPITFIRE MK II or Hexatac HPC². Each provides a different starting point:
- Husar Noble: built-in admin storage with an elastic organiser, front-flap buckles and rear zips for Noble back panels. A practical choice if you want organised storage and the option to expand the rear of the carrier.
- SPITFIRE MK II: a streamlined modular carrier supplied with a minimalist cummerbund. Add a front flap and dedicated SPITFIRE back panel to configure its storage, or upgrade the side system later.
- Hexatac HPC²: a MOLLE and hook-and-loop front for mounting pouches or an AYCE placard, integrated admin storage and repositionable shoulder straps. Choose it when you want flexible front attachment options and more control over shoulder placement.
Plate carrier cummerbunds, panels and comfort accessories
Our plate carrier accessories let you change fit, access and storage without replacing the entire platform. Choose from elastic or quick-release cummerbunds, detachable placards and front panels, back panels, shoulder pads and internal padding.
For a Husar build with quick-release side closures and MOLLE attachment points, choose the Husar QR Cummerbund. To add rear storage to a Noble, the Husar Charge Back Panel accepts Husar back-panel modules and PALS-compatible pouches. For additional cushioning, the Husar Comfort Pad Set includes ten hook-and-loop pads for the shoulders and the inside of the front and rear plate pockets.
How to choose your plate carrier
Start with your plate dimensions, then choose the fit and storage you need. This keeps the purchase focused on a carrier that fits your equipment and a set of accessories you will actually use.
- Match the plate pocket: our Husar Noble and Duke variants are 10 × 12. The HPC² supports SAPI Medium 241 × 318 mm and Shooter’s Cut 250 × 300 mm plates. SPITFIRE MK II is offered in M, L and XL; use its plate-size guide rather than your clothing size.
- Choose the side fit: the cummerbund secures the carrier around your torso. Measure over the clothing you will wear and use the size chart for that specific cummerbund.
- Decide how much storage you need: the Duke suits a pared-back setup; Noble, SPITFIRE MK II and HPC² offer more options for adding front and rear components.
- Complete the base: Noble, Duke and HPC² need a separately purchased cummerbund or side panels. SPITFIRE MK II already includes a minimalist cummerbund. Front flaps and accessory pouches are separate purchases.
Buy plate carriers from a European retailer
At ESTTAC, you can shop plate carriers and their supporting accessories together, from the base and cummerbund to front panels and padding. We ship from Europe, with delivery options for EU customers, the UK and other international destinations. Availability depends on the selected model, size and colour.
If you need help putting an order together, send us your plate dimensions, preferred carrier and the components you already own. We can help you choose the matching parts before you order.
Frequently asked questions about plate carriers
No. The Husar Noble, Husar Duke, SPITFIRE MK II and Hexatac HPC² listings are carriers, not carrier-and-armour packages. A plate carrier has no ballistic protection of its own; protection comes from the armour installed in it. Browse our ballistic equipment separately when you need protective components.
Choose the 10 × 12 variant of the Husar Noble or Husar Duke. Choose Noble for its admin organiser and rear-panel options, or Duke for a slimmer base. For 250 × 300 mm Shooter’s Cut plates, Hexatac HPC² is an explicitly supported option; it also accepts SAPI Medium 241 × 318 mm. Plate thickness and shape still matter, so send us those details if your plate differs from the listed format.
Noble and Duke include the front and rear plate pockets, shoulder pads and two female Swift Clip buckles; choose a cummerbund separately. SPITFIRE MK II includes its minimalist cummerbund, making it a useful starting point if you want the side closure supplied with the base. HPC² includes front and rear plate pockets, shoulder straps and elastic shoulder sleeves, but no side panels.
Add ballistic plates and any front panel or pouches you need separately. Accessorised product photographs do not mean every pictured component is included.
For a flexible, close-fitting setup, choose the Husar Elastic Cummerbund, which fits Noble and Duke. For quick-release buckles and a stiffer platform for MOLLE pouches, choose the Husar QR Cummerbund. Its sizes use circumference between the waist and chest: S 75–85 cm, M 85–95 cm, L 95–105 cm and XL 105–115 cm. Measure over your intended clothing; these measurements apply to the QR model, not every cummerbund.
Yes. HPC² has a MOLLE and hook-and-loop front, so you can attach MOLLE pouches directly or choose the Hexatac AYCE modular placard. Noble and Duke have female Swift Clip buckles for compatible front flaps, including Husar options. For SPITFIRE MK II, choose a front flap designed for the SPITFIRE system. A detachable panel must match the carrier’s buckle and lower attachment arrangement; MOLLE compatibility alone does not establish that fit.
For a Husar Noble, choose the Husar Charge Back Panel, which fits all Noble carrier sizes and supports additional Husar modules. For a SPITFIRE MK II, choose a dedicated SPITFIRE panel such as the Direct Action Utility Back Panel. These are system-specific zip-on accessories; match the panel to the carrier rather than choosing by colour or MOLLE layout alone.
