Battle belts and accessories for duty, training and range use
Shop battle belts built to support your holster, magazine pouches and other belt-mounted equipment. ESTTAC’s selection includes Blackfolium STRATOS belt systems, the STRATOS Padded Belt, Hexatac HMB Classic and HMB² outer belts, plus inner belts, padding and mounting accessories. Choose a slim MOLLE belt for a compact setup or add cushioning for longer periods of wear.
Alongside the belts, you’ll find holster mounts from Panneltac, Safariland and True North Concepts, magazine pouches, dump pouches and tourniquet holders. Whether you are assembling a new battle belt or replacing one component, you can shop the belt and its accessories together, with orders shipped from Europe.
Two-piece battle belts with a stable inner and outer system
A two-piece battle belt combines an inner belt worn through your trouser loops with an equipment-carrying outer belt. Hook-and-loop surfaces join the two layers, helping the outer belt stay in position while allowing you to remove it with the attached equipment still in place.
For a complete inner-and-outer starting point, we recommend the Blackfolium STRATOS Belt. Its thin inner belt and structured outer belt keep bulk down, while the composite core provides a firm base for holsters and pouches. The 45 mm belt has an AustriAlpin COBRA buckle and MOLLE attachment points for compatible equipment.
Padded battle belts for extra cushioning
Choose the STRATOS Padded Belt if you want the same belt system with an additional soft layer between the outer belt and your body. The package includes the inner belt, outer belt and removable padding. It is a practical choice when cushioning is more important to you than keeping the setup as thin as possible.
If you already own a STRATOS, add the STRATOS Padding separately. This lets you change the comfort of your existing setup without buying another complete belt.
Rigid MOLLE belts from Hexatac
The Hexatac HMB Classic is a rigid outer belt with a COBRA Snakebite buckle and an internal adjustment tail that leaves its external MOLLE surface available for equipment. Choose it when you want a structured mounting platform with a metal quick-release buckle.
The Hexatac HMB² uses a rigid frame with a separate adjustment strap running inside it. Adjustment on both sides lets you change the buckle position, and its supplied polymer buckle locks on both sides. Both Hexatac outer belts require a separate inner belt; the HMB EPI Inner Belt is a compatible 45 mm option with a buckle-free front and loop surface.
Holster mounts, pouches and battle belt accessories
Build around the equipment you need to carry. Our magazine pouches include pistol and rifle options, while dump pouches and tourniquet holders add storage for specific items. Match each pouch’s attachment to the belt: MOLLE straps weave into its slots, while belt loops and clamps need to fit its width and thickness.
For adjustable holster positioning, the Panneltac HDM-1 offers three height positions and forward or rearward cant adjustment. It supports the Safariland three-hole mounting pattern and can be used with a QLS receiver. Explore holster accessories for drop mounts, belt loops, quick-detach components and straps.
How to choose your battle belt
- Choose your starting point: STRATOS includes both belt layers; STRATOS Padded adds cushioning. HMB Classic and HMB² let you purchase the outer belt and matching inner belt separately.
- Measure where the belt sits: use your actual circumference over the clothing you will wear, following the model’s measuring instructions. Trouser labels and another brand’s belt size are not reliable substitutes.
- Match your attachments: check the belt’s width and thickness for loops or clamps, and the available MOLLE space for pouches. A holster’s mounting pattern is a separate compatibility check.
- Allow for adjustment: select a size that accommodates your normal clothing and intended fit. Check the complete setup for comfortable sitting and movement before adding more accessories.

Frequently asked questions about battle belts
Blackfolium STRATOS includes an inner and outer belt. STRATOS Padded includes both belts plus removable padding. Hexatac HMB Classic and HMB² are outer belts sold without an inner belt; add the compatible Hexatac HMB EPI Inner Belt if you do not already have one. Holsters, pouches and their mounts are separate purchases.
Measure your circumference where the belt will sit, rather than using your trouser size. Both STRATOS versions use these ranges: S 77–91 cm, M 88–102 cm, L 99–113 cm and XL 110–124 cm. Some ranges overlap; consider the adjustment room you need with your usual clothing.
Choose HMB Classic if you prefer its COBRA Snakebite buckle and internal adjustment tail. Choose HMB² if you want the floating adjustment strap, independent adjustment on both sides and an adjustable buckle position. The HMB² listing comes with a polymer buckle, not a COBRA buckle. Both provide a rigid platform and need a separate inner belt.
Yes—STRATOS Padding is available separately for the STRATOS belt. It can also work with other belts that have hook material on the inside of the outer belt and loop material on the inner belt. For a different brand, match the padded section’s length as well: S 70.5 cm, M 82 cm, L 93 cm and XL 104.5 cm. These are padding lengths, not waist-size ranges.
Use a compatible belt mount such as the Panneltac HDM-1 or True North Concepts Modular Holster Adaptor, matched to the belt. Both support the Safariland three-hole pattern. For a detachable connection, the Safariland QLS kit supplies the QLS 19 fork for the holster and QLS 22 receiver for the mount. The QLS kit does not replace the belt mount itself.
A battle belt is designed around carrying equipment: a structured outer layer and MOLLE or other mounting surfaces support pouches and a holster. An everyday belt primarily holds up trousers and may support concealed carry without the same external attachment layout. For a discreet everyday option, browse our EDC belts; for an equipment-carrying system, start with STRATOS or Hexatac HMB.
