Buy Gatorz eyewear in Europe

Gatorz has been building eyewear from solid 7075 aircraft-grade aluminium in San Diego since 1989, and the frames have earned their reputation the hard way — on special operations units, range instructors, pilots and shooters who need eye protection that survives being worn every day. ESTTAC is a Gatorz reseller in Europe, stocking the tactical range and shipping across the EU, to the UK, Germany and the wider continent. Buying Gatorz locally in Europe means no US import, customs delays or surprise fees at the door - just fast European delivery with VAT included.

Our range covers the models people actually search for: the Specter, Delta, Marauder, Rig, Warhawk, Wraith and Sentix sunglasses, plus the Blastshield and Blastshield B2 ballistic goggles and the Gatorz Ammo Can hard case. Most frames are offered in two builds — a Regular sunglass version for everyday and outdoor wear, and a MILSPEC Ballistic version rated to ANSI Z87.1+ with anti-fog coating for duty, range and training use.

Why choose Gatorz?

  • Aluminium, not plastic: frames are machined from billet 7075 aluminium — the same alloy grade used in aerospace — so they take impact and abuse that cracks injection-moulded frames.
  • Bend-to-fit: the temples and nose bridge can be adjusted by hand to your face, which means a proper seal and no slipping under a helmet, comms or ear protection.
  • MILSPEC ballistic protection: the ballistic lens builds meet ANSI Z87.1+ impact standards and add anti-fog coating for high-output work.
  • Lens options that match the light: Smoke, Clear, Photochromic (self-tinting), Sunburst and Blue Mirror, and Optimized Polarized (OPZ) for glare control without killing screen visibility.
  • Made in the USA: designed and assembled in San Diego, with a lifetime frame warranty from Gatorz.

Why buy Gatorz from ESTTAC?

  • In stock in Europe — no waiting on US import or customs clearance.
  • Fast EU shipping, plus delivery to the UK, Germany and worldwide.
  • Prices include VAT — no surprise fees on arrival.
  • Genuine Gatorz products, backed by a physical store, warranty and real support.

Frequently Asked Questions

ESTTAC stocks Gatorz in Europe and ships across the EU, UK, Germany as well as internationally across the world. Gatorz is a US brand with limited European distribution, so buying locally means no US import, customs delays or surprise fees — just fast European delivery with VAT included.

Yes. The Gatorz sunglasses, goggles and cases listed here are held in European stock and dispatched from within the EU, so you avoid transatlantic shipping times and import charges. Orders ship quickly across Europe with worldwide delivery available.

Regular Gatorz use standard high-impact polycarbonate sunglass lenses — the right pick for driving, everyday carry and outdoor use. MILSPEC Ballistic models use thicker ballistic-grade lenses that meet ANSI Z87.1+ and add an anti-fog coating, which is what you want for live fire, training and duty use. The frame is the same on both; you are paying for the lens. Each product page states which build the variant is.

The Specter and Delta are the mainstream tactical frames — medium coverage, works on most face shapes, good all-rounders. The Marauder and Rig are wider, more aggressive wrap frames with more coverage for the range and prone shooting. The Wraith and Sentix sit closer to a crossover sunglass, low-profile enough for everyday and off-duty wear. For maximum protection, the Blastshield and Blastshield B2 are full ballistic goggles with an extended visor that runs under a helmet.

Yes — this is the main reason people buy them. Because the frame is aluminium rather than plastic, the temple arms and nose bridge can be bent by hand to match your head and face. Adjust them slowly and in small increments, and the fit stays put. It also means you can tune the frame to sit cleanly under a helmet, headset or ear protection without pressure points.

Photochromic lenses self-tint with UV light — dark in bright sun, clearing as the light drops — so one pair covers changing conditions and low-light range work. OPZ (Optimized Polarized) lenses cut glare off water, snow, glass and vehicle bonnets while keeping digital screens readable, which standard polarised lenses often do not. If you only buy one pair and work across mixed conditions, photochromic is usually the more flexible option.
