3M E-A-R Switch Protection Earplugs are reusable dual-mode earplugs for environments where the required attenuation changes. Awareness Mode provides SNR 16 dB while allowing more low-level ambient sound through the acoustic filter, while Normal Protection Mode provides SNR 28 dB for higher continuous noise.

A rocker switch lets the user change between modes without changing earplugs. Soft retainers help keep the plugs securely positioned, and the reusable ear tips can be washed.
