The Böker Plus Fire Starter is a compact outdoor and survival tool for starting a fire in camping, hiking, bushcraft and emergency situations. It is designed to produce magnesium shavings that help ignite a campfire or emergency signal fire when dry tinder and suitable fire-starting conditions are available.
The tool has a sturdy threaded aluminium body with non-slip checkering for a secure grip. An integrated compass adds basic orientation support, making the Fire Starter a useful addition to outdoor gear, emergency kits, vehicle kits and preparedness equipment.
The included scraper is used to produce magnesium shavings from the fire starter. These shavings can help support the ignition process when preparing kindling, tinder or an emergency fire setup.
