TyTek 14G Chest Decompression Needle is designed for needle decompression in suspected tension pneumothorax by appropriately trained medical personnel. It is a purpose-built 14 gauge, 3.25 in / 8.3 cm device for emergency chest decompression.

The needle incorporates a Veress safety tip intended to help reduce the risk of injury to underlying structures. A visible cap head allows observation of air or blood leaving the chest, and the Luer-lock cap can be used for active aspiration when clinically indicated.
